据水断桥的典故
公元208年，曹操率军攻打荆州，荆州刘琮投降曹操。刘备见势不妙就立即逃奔江南。曹操率军追至当阳的长坂坡，刘备丢下妻儿逃跑。张飞利用河道，站在桥上阻断曹军的进攻，他瞪起眼睛横握长矛，曹军不敢贸然行动。刘备得以逃脱。
