唐明宗时期，董璋在四川叛乱，唐明宗派安重诲亲自去押送粮草，受到凤翔节度使朱弘昭的陷害，被调任河中节度使。唐明宗派翟光业与李从璋去河中观察他的活动，说如果发现有叛乱的迹象就处死安重诲。李从璋借机杀害安重诲一家。
