去年甥馆东西间，东对城西凤啄山。自春徂夏看不足，归去时时有梦还。

投身天地真多处，彷徨歧路缘何故。客气已尽江湖悲，少年望尔还归去。
尔去西山来待亲，犹对新居怀旧邻。可知能作山川主，不似寻常陌路人。
钟鼎山林各天性，吾昔青山已如命。难得吾妻亦称怀，良知此事天所定。
此画当年著此人，冰心玉质相辉映。尔今即去其如何，为我佳处留行窝。
明年春江鼓一棹，还及尔姊来经过。尔时林下风流句，应比安城道上多。

范当世（1854～1905)）字无错，号肯堂，因排行居一，号伯子。原名铸，字铜士。江苏通州（今南通市）人。清末文学家、诗文名家、桐城派后期作家，也是南通市近代教育的主要倡导者和奠基人之一。光绪时入李鸿章幕府，常相与谈论政事，自负甚高，而终身坎坷。诗多沉郁苍凉之作，著有《范伯子诗文集》。2008年4月16日，“南通范氏诗文世家陈列馆”开馆。
