薛季宣（1134～1173），字士龙，号艮斋，学者称艮斋先生，永嘉（今浙江温州市鹿城区）人，南宋哲学家，永嘉学派创始人。薛徽言之子。少时随伯父薛弼宦游各地。17岁时，在岳父处读书，师事袁溉，得其所学，通礼、乐、兵、农，官至大理寺主簿。历仕鄂州武昌县令、大理寺主簿、大理正、知湖州，改常州，未赴而卒。反对空谈义理，注重研究田赋、兵制、地形、水利等世务，开创永嘉事功学派先志。著有《浪语集》、《书古文训》等。
