字存永。闽县（福建省福州市）人，明末清初著名诗人、学者。藏书家徐火勃 子。明诸生，明亡不仕，与许友、陈浚号称“闽中三才子”，名冠一时。有《尺木集》。其“红雨楼”藏书闻名四方。其父卒后，承父志，读父所遗留藏书，益加购藏。家有书楼名“鳌峰”，至延寿时，改称“鳌峰书舍”，牙签四周。藏书之富，当地无人可比。另有唐代诗人徐延寿，江宁人，唐开元间处士。《全唐诗》收其诗三首。
