（541—604）隋朝创建者。弘农华阴人，小字那逻延。杨忠子。北周时袭父隋国公爵。女为北周宣帝皇后。任丞相，总揽朝政。旋废静帝而杀之，自立为帝，建立隋朝。开皇七年亡后梁，九年灭陈，结束西晋末年以来三百年分裂局面，统一全国。在位时加强中央集权，改革官制、兵制，以考试选拔人才，废除九品中正制，各项措施于后代影响较大。仁寿四年病重，为太子杨广所杀。在位二十四年。
