胡仲参，字希道，清源（今福建泉州）人。仲弓弟。生平不见记载，就集中诗知其早岁曾在临安就学（当为太学），应礼部试不第，后以诗游士大夫间，游踪颇广，与冯去非等有交。诗集已佚，仅《南宋六十家小集》存《竹庄小稿》一卷（亦收《两宋名贤小集》）。 胡仲参诗，以汲古阁影宋抄《南宋六十家小集》本为底本，新辑集外诗附于卷末。
