谁知壶中自乐，正醉围夜玉，浅斗婵娟。雁风自劲，云气不上凉天。红牙润沾素手，听一曲清歌双雾鬟。徐郎老，恨断肠声在，离镜孤鸾。
新雁过妆楼·中秋后一夕李方庵月庭延客命小妓过新水令坐间赋词鉴赏
《新雁过妆楼》，一名《雁过妆楼》。双调，九十九字，上片九句五平韵，下片十句四平韵。
“阆苑”两句，咏月。题曰“中秋后一夕”，鄞俗，过中秋节在八月十六。吴文英为鄞人，当时或已有此习俗，故作此词以记之。“阆苑”，神仙居处，这里借指月宫。“冰宫”，即广寒宫。“金枢”，星名，即北斗星也；又为月没之处，《文选·木华赋》词注：“金枢，西方月没之处”。此言月宫仙境高处不胜寒，北斗星移，广寒宫中的桂树泛香，年年都有这么一个大好的团圆佳节。“剪取”两句，述过中秋节。言中秋佳节，刚好在秋季的一半。但是时间上虽是两半分，却难以破坏世间千家万户中秋节团聚的传统习俗。“织锦”五句，“小妓过《新水令》”中唱词的内容。言男欢女悦在楼影遮蔽下，用织锦传递相思情。两人密约，相会在小帘之间，并赠钿钗作为定情物。两情缠绵，经常晤面，厮守通宵，直到月亮西坠于栏干下，才依依惜别。上片扣题意，述中秋，叙唱词。
“谁知”三句，扣题中“李方庵月庭延客，命小妓过《新水令》，”写宴中乐趣。言这“壶中日月长”，的酒徒乐趣，局外人谁能知晓？现在正是主人月庭夜宴，大家团坐一起，痛饮佳酿，倾听小妓歌《新水令》，并且欣赏圆月，相互斗趣的怡然自乐的时刻呢。“雁风”两句，述秋夜天气。言秋夜劲风不断袭人，秋高气爽，云淡气清明月圆，正是“天凉好个秋”（辛弃疾《丑奴儿·书博山道中壁》）。“红牙”两句，再记“小妓过《新水令》”。言润滑的红牙檀板沾粘素手不便拍打，那就且听云鬟高耸的小妓清歌一曲《新水令》吧。“徐郎老”三句，太息己之孤苦。“徐郎”，徐陵，南朝郯（今浙江嵊县）人，幼聪颖能文，释宝志尝称为“天上石麒麟。”曾任梁通直散骑侍郎，其文辞藻绮丽，与庾信齐名，时称“徐庾”体。这里是词人自诩。此言自己虽象徐陵那样自幼聪颖，文辞绮丽，但却命运不济，至老一事无成，更为恨声连连的是，自己老景凄凉，形单影孤，肠断无人识也。下片他人乐，已孤苦适成显明的对照。

吴文英（约1200～1260），字君特，号梦窗，晚年又号觉翁，四明（今浙江宁波）人。原出翁姓，后出嗣吴氏。与贾似道友善。有《梦窗词集》一部，存词三百四十余首，分四卷本与一卷本。其词作数量丰沃，风格雅致，多酬答、伤时与忆悼之作，号“词中李商隐”。而后世品评却甚有争论。
