译文
百亩大的庭院有一半是青苔，门外沙子铺满了整条路，还有蜿蜒的小溪流。喜欢悠闲，有空来的人有几个呢？
春天到了，院子里曲折的回廊非常的安静。山上的桃花、溪边的杏树，三三两两地种在一起。不知道它们是为谁开放，为谁凋零？
注释
“百亩”句：句出刘禹锡《再过游玄都观》：“百亩中庭半是苔，桃花净尽菜花开。”百亩：概数，形容庭园极大。半是苔：一半长满了青苔。
白道：洁白的小道。唐人李商隐《无题》：“白道萦回入暮霞，斑骓嘶断七香车。”
“小院”句：句出杜甫《涪城县香积寺官阁》：“小院回廊春寂寂，浴凫飞鹭晚悠悠。”
“山桃”句：语本唐人雍陶《过旧宅看花》：“山桃野杏两三栽，树树繁花去复开。”山桃溪杏：山中的桃，溪畔的杏。暗喻身处山水之中。
“为谁”句：句出唐人严恽《落花》：“尽日问花花不语，为谁零落为谁开？”
浣溪沙·百亩中庭半是苔创作背景
王安石二度受挫后归隐钟山度过了生命中的最后十年，他的许多词作于这个时期，内容大多为描绘江南景色，表现闲适心情之作。这类词为数不少，有《清平乐》 、 《浣溪沙》 、 《生查子》和《千秋岁引·秋景》等。这类词多作于元丰年间，反映了王安石晚年的生活情趣。

王安石（1021年12月18日－1086年5月21日），字介甫，号半山，谥文，封荆国公。世人又称王荆公。汉族，北宋抚州临川人（今江西省抚州市临川区邓家巷人），中国北宋著名政治家、思想家、文学家、改革家，唐宋八大家之一。欧阳修称赞王安石：“翰林风月三千首，吏部文章二百年。老去自怜心尚在，后来谁与子争先。”传世文集有《王临川集》、《临川集拾遗》等。其诗文各体兼擅，词虽不多，但亦擅长，且有名作《桂枝香》等。而王荆公最得世人哄传之诗句莫过于《泊船瓜洲》中的“春风又绿江南岸，明月何时照我还。”
