柳黄未吐叶，水绿半含苔。
边城思鉴赏
在我国古典诗词中，婀娜多姿的杨柳和离情相思早就结下了不解之缘。有名的《诗经·小雅·采薇》云：“昔我往矣，杨柳依依。今我来思，雨雪霏霏。”诗人借道中所见，以言行役之久，寄托离情乡愁。到汉代，折柳赠别更蔚成风气。可怜灞桥柳，愁煞离别人。人们把杨柳和离别联系在一起，大概是因为那长长的柳丝最容易引起绵绵离情的缘故吧。可是对于多情善感的诗人来讲，在那杨柳尚未垂下万条绿丝绦之时，他已敏锐地察觉到春天的来临，从而触动了他的乡愁。“柳黄未吐叶，水绿半含苔”，写的正是早春景象。柳色黄而已，尚未吐出细叶；水色绿而已，苔衣尚未长成。这正是冬尽春来的一、二月之际，春意萌动，春色逗露之时。杜审言说得好：“独有宦游人，偏惊物候新。”（《和晋陵陆丞早春游望》）飘泊边城的游子，对时令和景物的变化特别敏感。忽见边城杨柳色，已觉春色动地来。一个“动”字，把萌动的春意写得活泼泼地。而这种敏感，正是由客居异地而产生的刻骨的乡愁催发的。元稹诗云：“何处生春早，春生客思中。”（《生春二十首》其十九）赵嘏诗云：“何事最能悲少妇，夜来依约落边城。”（《新月》）而当边城春色动的时候，客居边城的游子也就格外思乡念家了。为什么春色最能撩拨人的乡思呢？王维的这首诗可以算一个让人满意的答复：“杨柳渡头行客稀，罟师荡桨向临圻。惟有相思似春色，江南江北送君归。”（《送沈子福归江东》）

南朝梁诗人，字仲言，东海郯(今山东省苍山县长城镇)人，何承天曾孙，宋员外郎何翼孙，齐太尉中军参军何询子。八岁能诗，弱冠州举秀才，官至尚书水部郎。诗与阴铿齐名，世号阴何。文与刘孝绰齐名，世称何刘。其诗善於写景，工于炼字。为杜甫所推许，有集八卷，今失传，明人辑有何水部集一卷。后人称"何记室"或"何水部"。
