译文
到处游访仙人，今天渡过颍阳河，来拜访隐士元丹丘。
老元啊，你怎么丢弃天下苍生的愿望，不去当官，却喜欢与洪崖仙人在一起？
当初选择此地建山居的目的就为了幽静隐蔽，每次的议论都足称美文。
此地好风景，北面是马山的断崖峭壁，南面是鹿台山。
溪水连通汝河，共享一轮明月，山峰与嵩山相接，同分漫天白云。
你这个人真有闲情逸致，我可是把你佩服得不行。
你在山泉松风里就可发迹，笑看朝暮云飞雨落。
而我却更喜欢四处游玩，与青鸟为伴，栖息江湄。
注释
题下有“序”云：“丹丘家于颍阳，新卜别业。其地北倚马岭，连峰嵩丘，南瞻鹿台，极目汝海，云岩映郁，有佳致焉。自从之游，故有此作。”元丹丘，太白至交，为道士，天宝初为西京大昭成观威仪。见《玉真公主祥应记》碑。太白之识玉真公主，或即元丹丘引荐。颍阳，唐县名，治所在今嵩山之南河南登封颍阳镇。颍阳山居，指元丹丘在颍阳新筑别业。山居，山中的居处。谢灵运《山居赋序》：“古巢居穴处曰岩栖，栋宇居山曰山居，在林野曰丘园，在郊郭曰城傍。”
颍水：源出河南登封西南，至安徽寿县正阳关入淮。
元君：指元丹丘。
苍生望：百姓所望。《晋书·谢安传》载，谢安高卧东山，征西大将军桓温请为司马，过江诸人相与言日：“安石不肯出，将如苍生何！”
洪崖：传说中的仙人。或说即黄帝臣子伶伦，帝尧时已三千岁，仙号洪崖。此借喻元丹丘。，
晦迹：隐居匿迹。
北山，指马岭。南岭，指鹿台山。《一统志》汝州：“鹿台山在州北二十里，有台状若蹲鹿。”
汝海：指汝水流域。
嵩丘：指嵩山。在今河南登封。
清芬：喻美德。
青鸟：海鸟。或说为鸥乌。典与鸥鹭忘机近似。拂衣，振衣。表示隐居。江渍，江滨。

题元丹丘颍阳山居创作背景
太白与丹丘为莫逆之交，时相与游从。丹丘身为道流，或出或处，或显或隐，徘徊于江湖魏阙之间。太白涉足终南捷径，丹丘当是重要引路人之一一。故《西岳云台歌>有求援引之意。丹丘当是于离开长安后，隐居颍阳，太白因从之游。其《题元丹丘山居》、《元丹丘歌>，当亦此游之作。

题元丹丘颍阳山居鉴赏
本文是李白于开元十五年(公元727年)夏天游汝、洛时题写在元丹丘的颍阳山居一诗，诗前并有一《序》。元丹丘：唐道人，李白与之交厚。李前后写给元氏的诗文有十馀篇；从其内容看，似乎本诗文应写在与元氏初交之时。颍阳：《唐书·地理志》云，河南道洛州有颍阳县，载初元年（武则天，公元689年）析河南、伊阙、嵩阳置武林县，开元十五年更名颍阳，西北有大谷故关，倚箔山有钟乳。清人王琦评价此诗说：“诗意谓颍阳别业，固尽丘壑之美，而已之所好更在江湖，是以欲与青乌相狎而栖息江渍。”是得李白本诗之意。虽说李白本诗《序》中说：“白从之游，故有此作”，诗中也说到“举迹倚松石，谈笑迷朝曛”；但他还是要“益愿狎青鸟，拂衣栖江溃”，还是要迎接风浪、云游四海，这一直是李白出川以来的心情。

李白（701年－762年），字太白，号青莲居士，唐朝浪漫主义诗人，被后人誉为“诗仙”。祖籍陇西成纪(待考)，出生于西域碎叶城，4岁再随父迁至剑南道绵州。李白存世诗文千余篇，有《李太白集》传世。762年病逝，享年61岁。其墓在今安徽当涂，四川江油、湖北安陆有纪念馆。
