临江仙·柳絮鉴赏
薛宝钗与林黛玉这两个人物的思想、性格是对立的。作者让宝钗作欢愉之词，来翻黛玉之所作情调缠绵悲戚的案，看上去只是写诗词吟咏上互相争胜，实际上这是作者借以刻划不同的思想性格特征的一种艺术手段。
但是，作者所写的钗、黛对立，并非如续书中所写的那样为了争夺同一个婚姻对象而彼此成为情敌（黛玉对宝钗的猜疑，在第四十二回“薛芜君兰言解疑癖”后已不复存在。事实如脂评指出，贾府上下，人人心目中宝黛都是一对未来的“好夫妻”），作者也并不想通过他们的命运来表现封建包办婚姻的不合理。作者所描写的宝黛悲剧是与全书表现封建大家庭败亡的主题密切相关的。他们的悲剧是贾府事变的结果。
细看词的双关隐义，不难发现“蜂围蝶阵乱纷纷”正是变故来临时大观园纷乱情景的象征。宝钗一向以高洁自持，“丑祸”当然不会沾惹到她的身上，何况她颇有处世的本领，所以词中以“解舞”、“均匀”自诩。黛玉就不同了，她不禁聚散的悲痛，就像落絮那样“随逝水”、“委芳尘”了。宝钗能“任他随聚随分”而“终不改”故态，所以黛玉死后客观上就必然造成“金玉良缘”的机会而使宝钗青云直上。但这种结合并不能从根本上消除宝钗和宝玉在对待封建礼教、仕途经济上的思想分歧，也不能使宝玉忘怀死去的知己而倾心于她。所以，宝钗最终仍不免被宝玉所弃，词中的“本无根”也就是这个意思。

曹雪芹，名霑，字梦阮，号雪芹，又号芹溪、芹圃。清代著名文学家，小说家。先祖为中原汉人，满洲正白旗包衣出身。素性放达，曾身杂优伶而被钥空房。爱好研究广泛：金石、诗书、绘画、园林、中医、织补、工艺、饮食等。他出身于一个“百年望族”的大官僚地主家庭，因家庭的衰败饱尝人世辛酸，后以坚韧不拔之毅力，历经多年艰辛创作出极具思想性、艺术性的伟大作品《红楼梦》。
