云外月，风前絮。情与恨，长如许。想绮窗今夜，为谁凝伫？洛浦梦回留佩客，秦楼声断吹箫侣。正黄昏时候杏花寒，廉纤雨。
满江红·小院深深鉴赏
慷慨悲歌，豪情万丈，可以入词；小桥流水，也可以入词。这首词以柔美的曲调，表现出男女相怨的私情。
作品虽以大量篇幅写一女子，但是全篇的主题却是表现爱恋这个女子的一位男子的相思之情；女子的形象，仅是在这位男子的想象中出现的。这是词的成功之处。词的上片，全以虚拟之笔，想象女子在春日思念男主人公的情状。虽是虚写，却逼真细致，情景历历，宛然在目。首先，作者即描写那个女子所独自居住的环境。那是一个幽深静谧的小小院落。由于GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人的远离，这深闺之中没有了欢声笑语，因而日间气氛空寂得令人难耐。更可恼的是，时当春日，天气冷暖阴晴没个准，使人觉得心绪也愈发烦乱了。天气之阴晴不定，暗喻女子思念GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人时心情的起伏变化，意思极为含蓄。“春未足，闺愁难寄，琴心谁与？”接下来三句，由景入情，正面点出女子的怨情。琴心，典出《史记·司马相如列传》：“是时卓王孙有女文君新寡，好音，故相如……以琴心挑之。”这里是为女方设想：闺中寂闷，无可交通心事之人，当此春昼，她如何排遣满腹愁怨呢？
以下由写情转入写事。“曲径”、“虚阑”二句，是一组工整而流畅的对仗，意在进一步刻画女子此刻之无聊。抒情男主人公设想，他的GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人此时感觉万般无聊，于是找些游戏来打发光阴。她时而在幽曲的花径里穿进穿出地扑捉蝴蝶，时而斜倚栏干在阳光下教鹦鹉说话……可是这些做法都没能帮她驱走忧愁。有时她一抬头，院中杨柳枝条飞舞之态又使她思绪万千。上片末“笑十三杨柳女儿腰，东风舞”二句，意思是说：女子看到婀娜的杨柳在春风中自在摇动，恰如十三岁小女孩儿无忧无虑地扭腰作舞，她感到这种不知忧愁的张狂轻浮之态十分好笑。一“笑”字将女子因物兴感、情绪更加烦乱的心态点化出来了。
词的下片，将相思之情写得更加凄婉动人。过片的四个三字句，写女子黄昏之后的孤苦愁闷。这里用了两个比喻：云外月，喻心期阻隔，GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人不得相见；风前絮，喻愁恨之绵绵不断。这四句，使人宛然见女子春夜枯坐空闺、如泣如诉之状。“想绮窗今夜，为谁凝伫”二句，将此夜女子悄然伫立，相思之情更深更苦的情态，准确地刻画出来。这里出以问句，更显出多情的男主人公对女方的无限关切。是全篇的高潮，也是抒情的“词眼”所在。一“想”字笼罩前后文，关合男女双方。有此二句，点明了前文一大篇描写皆非实景，而是“今夜”所“想”。有此二句，才由虚拟与悬想巧妙地过渡到实写，从而正面描写出男主人公一往情深的相思心理。“洛浦”与“秦楼”二句，即承“想”字而来，利用典故抒写自己怀想GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人却无缘相会的痛苦。
这“洛浦”与“秦楼”二句，借用了二个典故。前一个典故是正用，写自己梦见GREn/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>情人，醒后一切成空；后一个典故是反用，叹息出双入对的情侣天各一方。
篇末“正黄昏时候杏花寒，廉纤雨（细雨）”，以景物的描写显示抒情主人公满目所见，无非令人断肠之物而已。无限的哀感顽艳之情，融入春日黄昏景色之中，愈发显得愁绪无边，韵味深长。全词的结尾是以写景来抒情、语尽而情不尽的妙笔。全词情景交融，章法穿插变化，风格沉郁顿挫，用语典雅精丽，不失为一篇佳作。

岳珂(公元1183～公元1243) ，南宋文学家。字肃之，号亦斋，晚号倦翁。相州汤阴（今属河南）人。寓居嘉兴（今属浙江）。岳飞之孙，岳霖之子。宋宁宗时，以奉议郎权发遣嘉兴军府兼管内劝农事，有惠政。自此家居嘉兴，住宅在金佗坊。嘉泰末为承务郎监镇江府户部大军仓，历光禄丞、司农寺主簿、军器监丞、司农寺丞。嘉定十年（公元1217），出知嘉兴。十二年，为承议郎、江南东路转运判官。十四年，除军器监、淮东总领。宝庆三年（公元1227），为户部侍郎、淮东总领兼制置使。
