译文
秋天刮起了凉风，受惊的乌鸦在北面的树林里叫个不停。
难道是乌鸦栖息的习性与众不同，它们停集在枯枝上又怎能靠它安身？
天鹅一去再也不能回返，去勾吴的道路山险水又深。
人们只能嗟叹汉元帝一天天沉溺享乐，他竟然用铜丸击鼓来追求奇特的声音。
东海早就波涛汹涌，南风也已劲猛急紧。
致使青天白日变成了黑夜昏暮，三五颗小星使得月亮忧愁而隐。
世俗内心最喜好的是奸诈谋利，他们困积奇货，一掷千金。
高大的树木一旦挺立起来，锋利的刀斧就把它们追寻。
我半夜披衣起来徘徊，感伤时事，不禁热泪满襟。
尽管人们都能踏着薄薄的寒霜行走，可谁又想到那不畏严寒的松柏的坚贞？
早晨的太阳照耀着寒冷的原野，一群乌鸦从草丛飞了出来 。
它们哑哑欢叫，非常快活，飞舞到西边的山弯一带。
无情的旋风迟早就要来到，把枯枝败叶吹落在腐草陈荄。
栖居的草丛决不能够安身，鹰隼猛扑下来，无可逃灾。

感遇：因为自己的遭际和境遇而生发感慨。遇，遭遇。
西陆：秋天。司马彪《续汉书》：“日行西陆谓之秋。”西陆本为星宿名，指昴宿。
岂：难道，怎么。殊：不同的，特别的。性：习性。
集：群鸟停聚在树上。安：何，怎么。任：凭靠，依托。
鸿鹄(hú)：天鹅。
勾吴：古国名，在今浙江、江苏一带。勾，发音词头，无义。阻：险。
徒：白白地，仅仅。日：一天天地。沈湎(chén miǎn)：沉溺，迷恋。
丸鼓：用铜丸击鼓。骛(wù)：追求。
骎骎(qīn qīn)：疾速，急迫。
坐：因而，导致。
太阴：月亮。
众：世俗者。情：内心。
居：囤积，储存。捐：舍弃，献出，此处为“花费”。
危：高。根：树根，这儿借代为树木。一：一旦。振：直挺。
齐(zhāi)斧：用于征伐之斧。凡师出必斋戒入庙受斧，故曰斋斧。齐，通斋。寻：追逐，跟踪而至。
揽衣：披衣。
物：景物、时事、世事。涕：眼泪。
岁寒心：年终严寒时松柏挺立不屈的精神。《论语·子罕》：“岁寒，然后知松柏之后雕（diāo凋）也。”
鸒(yù)斯：乌鸦。蒿莱：草丛。
啁啾(zhōu jiū)：鸟叫声。馀：多余的，十二分的。
陵：山丘。隈(wēi)：山势弯曲的地方。
回风：旋风。旦夕：早晚间，迟早。
委：堆落。陈荄(gāi)：腐烂的草根。陈，腐烂的。荄，草根。
恃：依靠。
隼：鹗，鹞鹰。纵横：迅猛恣肆。

柳宗元（773年－819年），字子厚，唐代河东（今山西运城）人，杰出诗人、哲学家、儒学家乃至成就卓著的政治家，唐宋八大家之一。著名作品有《永州八记》等六百多篇文章，经后人辑为三十卷，名为《柳河东集》。因为他是河东人，人称柳河东，又因终于柳州刺史任上，又称柳柳州。柳宗元与韩愈同为中唐古文运动的领导人物，并称“韩柳”。在中国文化史上，其诗、文成就均极为杰出，可谓一时难分轩轾。
