清风朗月之夜，心爱的人儿在哪里呢？
正因为她长得实在太美了，反令我苦苦相思不已。
也许她正在东湖采莲叶吧？又可能她在南湖拔蒲葵根吧？平野漠漠，她究竟在哪里呢？她采的莲叶会给哪个人呢？
可不要先送给她的姐妹们，要是她知道我在如此苦苦地思念她，为了她而忧愁，她该先拿来送给我，一慰我的愁怀。
注释
绿水词：《琴历》：“蔡邕有五弄：游春，绿水，幽居，坐愁，秋思。”太白《绿水词》云：“绿水明秋月，南湖采白蘋。荷花娇欲语，愁杀荡舟人。”
风月：清风明月。泛指美好的景色。
阿侯：相传为古代美女莫愁的女儿。
倾人色：一作“倾城人”。
拔：一作“折”。根：一作“茸”。
小姑：此泛指少女。
愁魂：一作“秋风”。

绿水词创作背景
这是一首爱情诗。叶葱奇先生在其疏注的《李贺诗集》中已经发现，这首思慕所爱的诗中的“阿侯在何处”，与《七夕》中诗人所思念的所谓“钱塘苏小小”及《恼公》中的女主人公似乎都是一人，三诗同样表达了一种因爱慕却不能获得对方的爱情的忧愁。

绿水词鉴赏
在李贺集中，这首诗的写法是很独特的。
李贺作诗取法于《楚辞》早已是定论，至于有人说李贺之诗“少加以理，奴仆命《骚》可也”，褒扬亦甚。可能是李贺太喜欢标新立异的缘故吧，其诗趣实迥异于楚《骚》，走入幽冷鬼怪一路。从而人们往往忽视李贺也曾从南朝乐府民歌中汲取过养料。这首《绿水词》就是明证。在这首诗中，诗人不仅在内容上与南朝乐府多言男欢女爱相一致，更令人耳目一新的是，素来喜用幽冷孤凄的字眼的诗人此番一反常态，诗歌所显现出来的情感是明快的，且多效仿南朝民歌近乎口语化的语言，很多词语还直接取自于乐府民歌，读来清新可爱。素性忧郁的诗人难得有这般轻快的心情。虽然此诗的主题，是良夜思忆所欢，中间渗透着一丝淡淡的苦味，但这在李贺已是很少见的了。
除了李贺在此诗中的“取径”南朝乐府问题外，诗句本身几乎不用加以解释了。“今宵好风月，阿侯在何处？”梁武帝有诗云：“河中之水向东流，洛阳女儿名莫愁。十五嫁为卢家妇，十六生儿字阿侯。”又有人据别书说阿侯是妓女，此句则指诗人所想念的女子。梁武帝的诗很明显是从民歌中汲取养料的，阿侯也许是当时民间所传的人物。李贺此诗的第三句又从汉李延年的诗中化出。李延年原是伶人，其诗云：“北方有佳人，绝世而独立。一顾倾人城，再顾倾人国。”李贺这里反其意而用之。“为有倾人色，翻成足愁苦。”相思不已，又无从寻觅，诗人心中因惦念她而产生许多遐想：也许她正在“东湖采莲叶”，又可能她在“南湖拔蒲根”。她采的莲叶会给哪个人呢？“未持寄小姑”，意谓：不要先送给她的姐妹们。“且持感愁魂”，感愁魂是说诗人苦苦地思念她为她而忧愁。意谓：她该先把莲叶拿来送给诗人。
比较一下南北朝时的《采莲童曲》：“东湖扶菰童，西湖采菱芰。不持歌作乐，为持解愁思。”不难发现，李贺此诗的后半首与这首民歌的措词、含意非常相似。李贺平时作诗冥思苦索、呕心沥血，奇峭的风格往往使人们忘记李贺创作时曾那样苦心孤诣、曾经精心雕琢，但细心的读者还是可以见出他因刻意求工而露出那份雕琢的痕迹来的，而以这样洗炼、明快的语言表达诗人缠绵悱恻的情感，在李贺实为难得。

李贺（约公元791年-约817年），字长吉，汉族，唐代河南福昌（今河南洛阳宜阳县）人，家居福昌昌谷，后世称李昌谷，是唐宗室郑王李亮后裔。有“诗鬼”之称，是与“诗圣”杜甫、“诗仙”李白、“诗佛”王维相齐名的唐代著名诗人。著有《昌谷集》。李贺是中唐的浪漫主义诗人，与李白、李商隐称为唐代三李。有“‘太白仙才，长吉鬼才’之说。李贺是继屈原、李白之后，中国文学史上又一位颇享盛誉的浪漫主义诗人。李贺长期的抑郁感伤，焦思苦吟的生活方式，元和八年（813年）因病辞去奉礼郎回昌谷，27岁英年早逝。
