译文
在夜里酒醒了无梦境，周围一片清静，起来因忧愁而倚靠栏杆。夜深天寒，晶莹的露珠不断滴落，冰冷的秋雨落到荷塘的芙蓉花上，就像清泪未曾干过。
想起与佳人一别之后，彼此音信全无，虽然身体不断地消瘦下去，但还是难以放弃思念。夜已更深，高悬的明月不知不觉地已经移过红楼十二间了。
注释
丑奴儿：词牌名。汲古阁《宋六十家词》本《淮海词》调名作《采桑子》，注云：“元刻丑奴儿。”
阑干：即栏杆。用竹、木、砖石或金属等构制而成，设于亭台楼阁或路边、水边等处作遮拦用。
芙蓉：荷花的别名。
音尘：音信，消息。
难拚（pàn）：犹难舍。
无端：引申指无因由，无缘无故。

丑奴儿·夜来酒醒清无梦鉴赏
这首词抒发的是多情才子月夜相思的别情愁绪。起首二句点出时间是在深夜，隐含的背景是在酒醉之后，交代的事情是“清无梦”和“愁倚阑干”。用“清”字描写夜深人静酒醒之后神志的极端清晰和周围环境的极端宁静，见出词人当时索寞无聊的意绪。“无梦”二字，十分准确地描绘出酒醒之后神经依旧麻木思绪却骤然清醒之后，脑海里出现短暂的思维空白时的惶恐、无聊和失落。
接下来两句写倚阑干时所见。“雨打”一句，化用唐代白居易《长恨歌》诗意：“芙蓉如面柳如眉，对此如何不泪垂？”而抒情色彩更浓。这两句写景，实际上饱含着作者的主观色彩。
过片交代愁因：与佳人一别之后，彼此音讯全无，而一片痴情，却日甚一日，纵然是“为伊消得人憔悴”，瘦损不堪，也毫无衰竭之势。“瘦尽难拚”，可见出其愁情的深挚。
最后两句，又转回写愁倚阑干所见。陷入沉思之中的词人，丝毫没有感觉到时间的推移，不知不觉地，夜已更深了，明月已经移过红楼十二间了。透过其“愁倚”时间之久，精神之集中，折射出其相思之深挚。“无端”二字，露出怨意，看似怨月，实则是词人内心无绪、愁怨难排时的痴语。

秦观（1049-1100）字太虚，又字少游，别号邗沟居士，世称淮海先生。汉族，北宋高邮（今江苏）人，官至太学博士，国史馆编修。秦观一 生坎坷，所写诗词，高古沉重，寄托身世，感人至深。秦观生前行踪所至之处，多有遗迹。如浙江杭州的秦少游祠，丽水的秦少游塑像、淮海先生祠、莺花亭；青田的秦学士祠；湖南郴州三绝碑；广西横县的海棠亭、醉乡亭、淮海堂、淮海书院等。秦观墓在无锡惠山之北粲山上，墓碑上书“秦龙图墓”几个大字。有秦家村、秦家大院以及省级文物保护单位古文游台。
