魏晋：张华
翩翩四公子，浊世称贤明。
译文：风度翩翩的战国四公子，在那个战乱的时代成就了自己的贤达之名。
注释：四公子：指战国时期的孟尝君、平原君、信陵君和春申君。
龙虎方交争，七国并抗衡。
译文：那时龙争虎斗，战国七雄相互抗衡。
注释：七国：指战国七雄。
食客三千余，门下多豪英。
译文：但他们之所以成就自己的万古美名，多是依靠他们招徕的门下食客。
游说朝夕至，辩士自纵横。
注释：纵横：指无拘无束地施展自己的才能。
孟尝东出关，济身由鸡鸣。
译文：孟尝君出函谷关，依靠门客学鸡叫，才得以顺利通过。

信陵西反魏，秦人不窥兵。
译文：信陵君救赵国后，留居赵国，后秦攻打魏国，魏王召信陵君回来，秦兵不再敢伐魏。

赵胜南诅楚，乃与毛遂行。
译文：秦兵攻打赵国的都城邯郸，平原君到楚地求救，靠毛遂说服了楚王，楚国才出兵相救。
注释：赵胜：即平原君。诅：以福祸之言在神前相约定。
黄歇北适秦，太子还入荆。
译文：春申君曾经游说秦王，才使楚国太子得以还楚。
注释：黄歇：指春申君。荆：楚国别名。
美哉游侠士，何以尚四卿。
译文：游侠之士真是贤明，但他们为什么反而要崇尚四公子呢？
我则异于是，好古师老、彭。
译文：我则与那些游侠士不同，我喜好古人，以老子、彭祖为师。

张华（232年－300年），字茂先。范阳方城（今河北固安）人。西晋时期政治家、文学家、藏书家。西汉留侯张良的十六世孙，唐朝名相张九龄的十四世祖。张华工于诗赋，词藻华丽。编纂有中国第一部博物学著作《博物志》。《隋书·经籍志》有《张华集》十卷，已佚，明人张溥辑有《张茂先集》。张华雅爱书籍，精通目录学，曾与荀勖等人依照刘向《别录》整理典籍。《宣和书谱》载有其草书《得书帖》及行书《闻时帖》。
